A little about ourselves

The Alabama Emergency Medical Services Association (AEMSA) was born and continues for one simple reason - to give all Alabama Emergency Medical Services Personnel (EMSP) a unified voice for building a better EMS. The AEMSA is Alabama’s only organization solely dedicated to representing the professional interests of all EMS practitioners, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, emergency medical responders and other professionals working in prehospital emergency medicine. The AEMSA was formed in 2011 and is designated by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) entity.

NEW MEMBERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!

We are excited to announce a new membership benefit that we are now offering. We have partnered with Emergency Services Education and Consulting (ESEC), ( http://www.emergencyeducation.us ) to provide access to their on-line continuing education program as part of your membership! You should be receiving an e-mail from ESEC soon. The email will have instructions on how to log in to their system. There classes are CAPCE approved and will help you to meet your NREMT continuing education requirements. There is no additional cost for this service. It is included with your membership to AEMSA! Information will be emailed out on how to sign up after membership is processed.
