History
The Alabama Emergency Medical Services Association (AEMSA) was created and continues for one simple reason – to give all Alabama Emergency Medical Services Personnel (EMSP) a unified voice for building a better EMS. The AEMSA is the only organization in Alabama solely dedicated to representing the professional interests of all EMS practitioners, including paramedics, emergency medical technicians, emergency medical responders, and other professionals working in prehospital emergency medicine. The AEMSA was formed in 2011 and is designated by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit, 501(c)(3) entity.

Southeast Alabama EMS (SEAEMS)
SEAEMS provides comprehensive training to the EMS community in the SE Alabama region.
Alabama Gulf Emergency Medical Services System
AGEMSS focuses on pre-hospital emergency medical care in Region Six.
Office of EMS (OEMS)
OEMS is responsible for assuring that EMS in Alabama meet or exceed established standards.
